It's the part of a payment that's genuinely yours after LQID sets aside the sales tax you owe the CRA and an estimate of your income tax. It's an estimate to guide you, not a filing.

Does the invoice update my books automatically?

Yes. Invoice income flows into your profit & loss, your HST return, and your year-end without re-entering anything.

Can my customer pay online through the invoice?

CONFIRM BEFORE PUBLISHING — online "pay now" is on the roadmap, not live. Until it ships, do not claim customers can pay through the invoice.
